New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Details Involving Cheetah, a Lynda Carter Easter Egg, and Steve Trevor Rocks a Fanny Pack

We've got a few little new details to share with you regarding Wonder Woman 1984! We saw a couple official photos recently of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. Now we've learned some new details regarding Kristen Wiig 's character Cheetah and a couple of other fun things that were spotted in a set photo. First, here's the new information that was revealed involving Cheetah. This news comes from Vulture entertainment reporter Kyle Buchanan. Since today is a good day for WONDER WOMAN scoops, I've heard that Kristen Wiig starts the sequel as Diana's friend, not her foe. She emulates Wonder Woman, then seeks to usurp her - Kyle Buchanan June 13, 2018
That seems like the version of the character in the Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp 's Wonder Woman: Rebirth storyline. In that story, Barbara Minerva is an archeologist who was considered Diana Prince's best friend.
