J.J. Abrams Talks About CLOVERFIELD 4 and Says it's a "Crazy Movie"

J.J. Abrams seems to be enjoying his Cloverfield franchise and the mystery that surrounds it. The Cloverfield Paradox made a surprising debut on Netflix after the Super Bowl. The movie was met with a lot of mixed reviews. Some people downright hated it. A lot of people wondered what the fate of the fourth Cloverfield film would be after Paradox was released. That film is tentatively title Overlord and it's already done shooting. As of right now, the plan is to release it on the big screen. Abrams recently spoke with Digital Spy about the project, but first explains that it was fun to release The Cloverfield Paradox without anyone knowing: "It didn't really feel like it was any fun to release with everybody knowing that it was coming. Could we possibly do this and keep it a secret and release the thing in the way we did? That felt to me like that's the spirit of these movies, that's the spirit of the series.
