Ewan McGregor Will Play Danny Torrance in Stephen King's THE SHINING Sequel DOCTOR SLEEP

Ewan McGregor has been cast in the lead role of Danny Torrance in Warner Bros. adaptation of Stephen King 's Doctor Sleep , which is a sequel to The Shining. I was wondering who they would cast in this role and McGregor is freakin' perfect! The film is being directed by Mike Flanagan previously directed Oculus, Ouija , Gerald's Game and Hush , all of which were solid movies, especially Gerald's Game which was another Stephen King story. The studio is not only developing this sequel to The Shining, they are also developing a prequel called Overlook Hotel. The films have been in development for years, but since IT was a huge hit, they are really interested in moving forward with these. The Shining centers on Jack Torrance, his wife Wendy, and their son Danny as they live in the haunted Overlook Hotel during the winter season to take care of it. It's there that the hotel possesses Jack and he slowly becomes possessed by the hotel and nightmarishly torments his wife and son. Doctor Sleep takes place several...
