Oppo Find X price and release date revealed

3 monthes ago   |   By Phone Arena

You might have never heard about Oppo, a Chinese phone maker that does not sell its devices much outside of Asia, but the new truly bezel-less phone with a slider mechanism will surely have you remember this name. The futuristic device that you see above is the Oppo Find X, a phone with practically no bezel and no notch either (to be perfectly precise, it features a record 93% screen-to-body ratio). And it's a true flagship rocking the Snapdragon 845 chip under the hood with a whopping 256GB of storage, a clever camera and an advanced face recognition feature that Oppo is so confident in...

Oppo's new Find X flagship smartphone will cost £999 and ships in August

3 monthes ago   |   By The Verge

The Oppo Find X , the first smartphone from the Chinese electronics company to be sold in Europe and North America, will cost £999 (about $1,150 at current USD conversation rates). The pricing was announced at the tail end of Oppo's lavish reveal event that was held at the Louvre in Paris today. That price appears to be only for the 256GB configuration, and we don't know whether the phone will be available for less money. The device is slated to ship in August, though we don't know yet whether that time frame is for Europe, North America, or both regions.
Prior to the Find X, Oppo phones...

The Oppo Find X is already a distinctive phone, with nearly bezel-free design and a slide-out camera system that houses a 25MP front-facing camera with 3D face scanning support and a rear dual camera system. But if that's not special enough for you, Oppo has announced there's also going to be a special edition model....

Oppo officially enters Europe as it hits 200 million users

3 monthes ago   |   By GSMArena

At the grand unveiling event for its Find X smartphone, Oppo had some interesting things to share that weren't directly related to the device.
Here's one: 200 million people are using an Oppo handset across the world at the moment. That's quite an impressive achievement for a company whose international footprint is nowhere near the likes of Apple or Samsung. What's more, there are currently over 90 million Oppo phones out there with VOOC fast charging support.
However, that might change in the near future. Oppo is soon going to be officially present in Europe - namely in Italy,...

Oppo Find X is a new flagship Android phone with a pop-up camera setup

As smartphone bezels continue to shrink, device makers are working to find new ways to combine having minimal bezels with including features that most people expect from a smartphone, like a front-facing camera. Some device makers have opted for a notch , but others are getting a bit more creative with their designs.
The Oppo Find X is a new Android smartphone with a pop-up camera system. When you're not using the cameras, both the front and back shooters are hidden. When you open the camera app, though, the entire top portion of the device motorizes up within around 0.5 seconds to reveal...

Oppo's new Find X phone has not one but three pop-up cameras

3 monthes ago   |   By Pocket-lint

Oppo's new Find X is unlike anything you've ever seen. It's a new phone that crams together all the hot design trends right now. Officially announced at a live-streamed event in Paris on 19 June, it has a large 6.4-inch display that you can hold in one hand. This ticks off the first trendy item box. Secondly, it has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 per cent, meaning it's yet another nearly bezel-less phone. But, more importantly, it doesn't have a notch. Some people love the notch, while others hate it. If you're in the latter group, you'll be glad to know this fad was skipped. Third, the...

Oppo Find X launches with no notch, almost no bezel and three pop-up cameras

3 monthes ago   |   By TechRadar

The Oppo Find X has been officially unveiled, with an impressive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio and a rather bonkers triple pop-up camera setup. It directly challenges the Vivo Nex , itself only launched last week in China, which had boasted the best screen-to-body ratio of any smartphone at 91.24% and a single pop-up camera. The Find X however has both its front facing 25MP camera and dual 16MP and 20MP rear facing cameras built into one moving section which takes up the entire width of the phone at the top. Fire up the camera app, and the camera block rises out from the top of the phone to...
