LG K8, K10 look to bridge the gap between low-end and flagship status

3 monthes ago   |   By TechRadar

One of the big highlights at MWC 2018 , other than the Samsung Galaxy S9 , will be the debut of LG's AI-focused LG V30S. But the Korean company has a few other launches planned, including upgrades to its low-end lineup of phones. There's good reason to believe that they will both come to both the US and Australia, but that's yet to be confirmed. A chip off the old LG G6 block, the K10 looks to be the star of the...

Samsung Galaxy S9 release date, price, news and rumors

3 monthes ago   |   By TechRadar

We're very close to the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S9, and there have been so many leaks across the web that we know almost for certain what it's going to look like, and how it's going to work. The bad news for some: it's not going to look hugely different from the Samsung Galaxy S8 , with the main difference coming from the upgraded camera and the big jump in performance, thanks to a more powerful CPU. We'll also be seeing the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus alongside the S9 when it's released on stage at MWC 2018 , so it's going to be a bumper launch from Samsung.

Mobile World Congress 2018 preview: What to expect

3 monthes ago   |   By Android Central

Galaxy S9, plus.
It's easy to imagine that companies like LG, Huawei, Sony and others were more than a little relieved when Samsung didn't announce the Galaxy S8 at last year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The mobile- and cellular-focused show has taken over from January's CES as the place hardware vendors launch their early-year flagships, and there was plenty to get excited about in 2017.
This year, there's still a lot to look forward to, but some of the big names are stepping back from the fray, mainly to give breathing room to the most dominant name in Android today: Samsung...

We know the phones will feature big improvements when it comes to performance - especially the Exynos-powered model that will be sold internationally, but not in the United States. And we know that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will feature upgraded cameras that are shaping up to be better...
