8 days ago   |   By PhoneDog

Now that Apple has taken the wraps off of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X , many folks are looking ahead to the reveal of Google's new flagship smartphones. And it looks like that event may be less than one month away.
A Google billboard that reads “Ask more of your phone.” has been spotted in Boston , and it's got the date “Oct. 4” at the bottom. That suggests that Google is planning to hold a phone-focused event on October 4th, exactly one year after the original Pixel and Pixel XL were announced .
Google hasn't made any announcements regarding an October 4th event, so nothing is official...

Google billboard teases potential Pixel 2 event date of Oct 4

Well, it doesn't get much clearer than that.

Barring some weird coincidence, it seems like that's the date for the next Pixel event.
Last year's Google Pixel event, which was held in San Francisco, was coincidentally held on October 4 as well. It wouldn't be surprising if Google wanted to keep that date going, and initial rumors...

Following several rumours, Google seems poised to unveil new devices on October 4th. Earlier speculation hinted a Pixel-focused media event would happen on October 5th , however, a billboard has popped up in Boston, which was first spotted by DroidLife, states the tagline “Ask more of your phone” and “Oct. 4.” with the Google branding. If accurate, Google could very well announce the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL flagship smartphones on this date. As for specs, both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will feature Snapdragon 835 processors, 4GB of RAM, pressure-sensitive frames, front-facing speakers...

Google Puts Up Billboard Hinting At Oct. 4th Phone Event

8 days ago   |   By Android Headlines

Google has put up a billboard hinting at an October 4th phone event, and although there are no pictures of the upcoming Pixel 2 or Pixel XL 2, and Google isn't directly saying there is going to be an event on the 4th let alone that it will be for new devices replacing the current generation Pixel and Pixel XL , the sign does have two pieces of information that suggest that will be the case. For one, the sign says “ask more of your phone,” hinting that Google will showcase new phones that will be able to do more for its users. In addition to this, there is a date at the bottom of the...
