ARCore now supports 250 million devices as new version rolls out

Google's augmented reality platform hits a new milestone.
ARCore made its debut earlier this year, and Google is announcing that the augmented reality platform supports 250 million devices. The full list of ARCore devices include the Pixels , most of Samsung's portfolio, and recent phones from the likes of LG, Huawei, Nokia, Motorola, OnePlus, and Xiaomi.
Google is also introducing ARCore 1.6 with improved lighting and camera features. Google is making key changes to its Sceneform rendering library, which will now optimize ambient light to neutral and white, as opposed to yellow. Google...
