OPPO Find X is here with a pop-up slider for all three cameras

3 monthes ago   |   By Android Central

The Find X comes with a pop-up motor that hides the cameras when not in use.
OPPO is reviving the Find series with its most ambitious device yet. The Find X comes with an innovative pop-up slider that contains all three cameras - the dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera and the 25MP front camera. Doing so has allowed OPPO to maximize screen space while eliminating the notch, with the Find X offering a 6.4-inch 1080p OLED display with a 92.26% screen-to-body ratio.
That's slightly more than that of the Vivo Nex , with Vivo's handset also featuring a retractable front shooter. Unlike the Nex, the...

One pop-up camera? Puh-lease! The Oppo Find X has three cameras mounted on one pop-up mechanism - dual cam on the back, single on the front. There's a 3D facial scanning system as well.
The mechanism is motorized and can pop up in half a second. This leaves the front entirely to the 6.4" OLED panel with very narrow bezels, even the chin is barely there. The official screen to body ratio is 92.25%. The back is completely clean too when the cameras slide back in.
There's no fingerprint reader on board, so the phone relies on its 3D facial scanning for secure...

Oppo's Find X ditches the notch for pop-up cameras

If there's a singular trend to point to for phones in 2018, it's the effort to cram as much screen into a device as possible. Oppo's new Find X, which is being officially announced in Paris today, combines a number of trendy design ideas, plus some even newer tricks, to fit an extremely large 6.4-inch display into a phone that you can still hold in one hand. The Find X's design is so space efficient that Oppo claims it has a screen to body ratio of 92.25 percent. And it does this without utilizing a notch, which should make at least some people happy.
