It's official: Apple now owns Shazam.
Apple confirmed today that it's completed its acquisition of Shazam. Apple first announced its plans to acquire Shazam in December 2017 , and while there's no official word on how much Apple paid for Shazam, rumors have suggested that it was around $400 million.
