Apple has quietly launched a replacement program for the display of the iPhone X. The company's support page provides the details. "Apple has determined that some iPhone X displays may experience touch issues due to a component that might fail on the display module," said the company. Apple has posted a new support page for the iPhone X that mentions how a component used on the display module might fail. Apple launched a pair of repair programs to fix issues for some 13-inch, non-Touch Bar MacBook Pro and some iPhone Xs, as spotted by Bloomberg. Affected MacBook Pro models have an issue with their solid-state drive, while the iPhone X might have a faulty display module.
In the case of the MacBook Pro , the company says that a “limited number” of 128 GB and 256 GB non-Touch Bar models sold between June 2017 and June 2018 have an issue with their solid-state drives, which “may result in data loss and failure.” Apple will service for those models for free, and recommends getting them checked...

There has been an ongoing touch issue with some of the iPhone X units as well as MacBook Pro 13 data loss problems and the company is now acknowledging them by launching a replacement program for both.
If you are one of those users experiencing "ghost touches" or the panel not responding to touches on your iPhone X, then you are eligible for a free replacement. You just have to contact your local service center and let them resolve the issue by replacing the panel or even the whole unit.
