YouTube is using Valentine's Day as the opportunistic moment to make a number of announcements relating to the sweetening of its live and on-demand TV service, YouTube TV. The first, and likely most relevant announcement, is how YouTube TV is getting a number of new channels, including access to Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNN, TBS, TNT, truTV, and Turner Classic Movies. Looks like those rumored YouTube TV changes are true.
YouTube today confirmed that YouTube TV is gaining some new channels and expanding to new markets, but that it's also getting a price hike. First, the new channels include TNT, Adult Swim, TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, truTV, Turner Classic Movies, and others.
YouTube TV is also gaining new sports content like March Madness, nationally televised NBA games, NBA All-Star weekend, NBA Playoff games, MLB Postseason games, UEFA Champions League soccer, and PGA Championship golf. Coming soon will be NBA TV and MLB Network, too, with customers...

Subscribers to Google's YouTube TV service now have access to more content in more places for more dollars per month. The live TV and video service is adding a number of Turner-owned stations to its lineup, including Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, CNN, HLN, TBS, TNT, truTV, and Turner Classic Movies.
