Google Pay Now Stores Tickets & Lets You Pay Your Friends

Google Pay users will soon be able to send money from within the main app, store things like tickets and boarding passes for redemption, and use a convenient web interface to manage their accounts. The money sending abilities come from a merging of the Google Pay app and its Google Pay Send sibling app. All of these changes are already beginning to roll out to select Google Pay users, and all users should be seeing them within the next few weeks.
