During the Square Enix E3 2018 media briefing, the publisher announced that Final Fantasy XIV was getting a crossover event with Monster Hunter: World. Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game which came out in 2013 on PC. Since then, the game has received numerous updates and boasts a significant fan following. You'll soon be able to take on a "Primal" in Final Fantasy XIV which is a class of massive monsters from the Monster Hunter universe. Other beasts like the Cactuar and Rathalos will also be joining the game.
