$100 Goophone X copies the iPhone X look

One year ago   |   By Liliputing

Why spend $999 on an iPhone X when you can pick up a knockoff for 1/10th the price? Because the knockoff is a pretty lousy phone, that's why. But at least the Goophone X looks a lot like Apple's pricey new smartphone. Just a day after Apple announced its new high-end phone, DHgate is taking orders [...]

The best iPhone X and iPhone 8 deals are from.GameStop?

One year ago   |   By TheBoyGeniusReport

The iPhone X is already the talk of the town. Apple's best iPhone ever also happens to be its most expensive iPhone ever. And it's got one design issue that's already generating some top notch debates - pun intended. The phone launches only on November 3rd, which means you have plenty of time to decide whether you're going to buy one or not. But one thing seems certain: most buyers will not have to pay $999 for the handset, as there will be plenty of deals to take advantage of. GameStop has one too.

The Apple iPhone X has made waves with its $1,000 price tag, although there's no denying it does look pretty damn cool. I was about 1000% sure I wouldn't buy this phone before watching this video, and now after watching I'm down to like 500% sure I won't be buying it because who has that kind of money to blow on a phone? See how you feel and if you can justify it by watching the video below.

The iPhone X's face-recognition system may be secure, but it could be super-annoying to use

The iPhone X's face-recognition system may be secure, but it could be super-annoying to use

One year ago   |   By Business Insider

With the just-unveiled iPhone X , Apple has introduced a new way for users to unlock their phones - they'll just look at their device.
The new $1,000 gadget has a built-in facial-recognition system that Apple says is more secure and will work just as well as the Touch ID fingerprint sensors in its other phones. How well it will work in practice is in anyone's guess, but I have my doubts.
Apple calls the new unlocking system Face ID . It's built around an advanced face-mapping camera system that authenticates you by scanning your face.
The new system replaces Touch ID. The front of the...

Deus Ex: The Fall - 99p / 99c
Probably one of the best FPS games on the App Store. It looks lovely, it gets that Deus Ex feel just about right, and there's a thick and juicy prequel story to sink your teeth into. For 99p you really shouldn't be turning your nose up at this one if you haven't played it yet.

Forget the $1,000 iPhone X - Apple's best iPhone is now its least expensive, at just $350

One year ago   |   By Business Insider

Apple introduced a new iPhone on Tuesday that looks incredible, is faster than ever, and... is outrageously expensive. The base model costs $1,000. One thousand dollars!
We're still talking about phones , right? This is a phone?
Assuredly, millions of people will excitedly plunk down a full stack for the iPhone X. It's more than just a phone - it's a status symbol. I get it. It's a much more affordable version of a Ferrari. Fine.
But I'm a Honda Civic kinda guy.
I want something affordable, powerful enough, and long-lasting. I'm not trying to impress anyone, nor am I the kind of person who...
