Fallout 76 is almost here. Bethesda's new online RPG is officially slated to launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this week (although its servers have gone live a little early ), and ahead of that, the publisher has shared a message with fans about the game's development and what's in store for it post-release. IGN can confirm that servers for Fallout 76 have opened up a day early, and those who have it pre-loaded on PC or have received early physical copies of the game have been able to jump online.
Users on Reddit noted servers went live early this morning, though as of now it appears console players who are buying the game digitally will have to wait for its official release date of November 14. I still don't know if Fallout 76 is my jam. But I'm sure I won't be diving back in unless I have some friends at my side.
I jumped into the beta intending to answer the question of whether or not Fallout 76 can actually “work” as the kind of solo experience fans of Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 4 have come to expect from the series. Bethesda Clarifies Which Achievements Carry Over From Fallout 76's Beta

The Fallout 76 B.E.T.A. allowed players to carry their progress into the game which was set to release tomorrow. Unfortunately, not every achievement makes that transfer. Luckily, Bethesda VP Pete Hines took to twitter to explain how to gain achievements and trophies after launch.
The essential problem is that beta achievements don't officially register. In order to collect those trophies, you have to replay certain sections with a new character. All progress, like experience and weapons, will carry over to the launched game.

Bethesda Softworks' open-world multiplayer experiment, Fallout 76 , was set to go live at midnight tonight, but the game is already live and players around the world are diving into its post-apocalyptic world.
We've tested a standard retail disc and were able to play, and a number of Twitch streamers are also showing off their playthrough. Online stores still list Fallout 76 for pre-order, but if you got your copy early somehow then you should be able to start playing today.
